Work Interests:

Originally from Longview, Washington, Steve sidestepped the glamorous world of film and went into television instead. “ I could have gone down to L.A. and pulled cables around movie sets for 40 years, in the smog and the heat, or I could go into television and stay in the northwest. It wasn’t a very difficult decision.”

Steve has been a commercial producer, director, engineer, news photographer, station director and University lecturer. And now, working at the FMC, he applies his accumulated skills to serving the College of Forestry community in media services and product development, and becoming involved as a faculty member at Oregon State University.

Faculty Assignments:

• Laboratory Instructor for undergraduate-level Forestry course "Natural Resource Communications."
• Member, Forest Ecosystems and Society Department, College of Forestry.
